72nd Annual Radio & Television Congressional Correspondents’ Dinner
Dear RTCA members:
We’re excited to announce that Hasan Minhaj, a comedian, actor and a Senior Correspondent on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”, is the headliner for the 2016 Radio and Television Correspondents’ Association Dinner on June 15th at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
As a correspondent, he’s covered Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S., labor issues, negotiations with Iran and Donald Trump. His one-man show, titled HOMECOMING KING, premiered off-Broadway last October and is the story of the “New Brown America,” based on true events from Minhaj’s first generation Indian-American experience. In addition, Minhaj was invited to be a part of the Sundance Institute’s New Frontier Story Lab. He hosted the documentary special Stand Up Planet produced by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. A featured storyteller at The Moth, his storytelling has garnered acclaim in film, web and television, and his viral web series The Truth with Hasan Minhaj has been featured in countless publications.

All those wishing to participate in the drawing must purchase tables prior to May 20th. RTCA members may purchase individual tickets for themselves and a guest regardless of their news organization’s participation.
